Custom Floral Design, Made With Purpose

For me, floral design is personal and custom by nature. Every order I take gets my full attention, from color and movement to seasonality and the story behind the flowers. This allows each arrangement to feel unique and thoughtful, rather than mass-produced.

This focus on custom work is one of the reasons I stepped away from wire services. While they can be convenient, they often limit creative freedom, flexibility, and the ability to select flowers thoughtfully.

Wire services also charge extra fees—sometimes up to 30%—which leaves a much smaller budget for the local florist to create the “stock photo” bouquet you fell in love with on their website. By designing each arrangement in-house at Ethereal Designs, I can handpick seasonal blooms, maximize the budget for quality flowers, and create arrangements that truly reflect both your vision and my design standards.

Seasonal Flowers and Thoughtful Sourcing

I love working with flowers that are at their peak. Whenever possible, I source blooms directly from trusted local growers and farms. This approach ensures freshness and allows me to design with what is naturally in season.

By embracing seasonal flowers, I create arrangements that feel organic, current, and reflective of the time they were made—whether it’s soft spring textures or rich autumn tones.

Slowing Down to Focus on Details

Working on a smaller scale gives me the freedom to slow down and focus on every detail. Each stem is conditioned by hand, each arrangement is balanced thoughtfully, and every design is finished with care.

This pace also gives me time to reflect. Stepping back and adjusting the arrangement before it leaves the studio ensures it feels complete, cohesive, and intentional.

Reflection is just as important as the design process.
